Section B: Room Booking Terms & Conditions (Please Read)
This outlines the procedures and conditions for the booking and use of rooms for training and
meetings managed by the Singapore Nurses Association. This ensures fair access, proper
usage, and smooth coordination.
- Eligibility
- 1.1. Members: Singapore Nurses Association members, official subcommittees, or affiliated Chapter groups.
- 1.2. External Applicants: Healthcare partners, educational institutions, or other organisations (subject to approval by SNA).
- Booking Submission
- 2.1. Complete the Room Booking Request Form (online).
- 2.1.1. Submit the form at least 10 working days prior to the intended booking date.
- 2.2. Confirmation email will be sent within 3 working days after submission.
- 2.3. Bookings will be confirmed based on:
- 2.3.1. Room Availability
- 2.3.2. Alignment with the Association’s mission
- 2.3.3. Priority level (see below)
- 2.4. Priority for room allocation will be given as follows:
- 2.4.1. Official Singapore Nurses Association events and meetings
- 2.4.2. Training and workshops organised by the Association and/or Chapters
- 2.4.3. Partnered or sponsored events
- 2.4.4. External user bookings (subject to terms and availability)
- 2.5. Cancellations must be made at least 3 working days in advance.
- 2.5.1. Security deposit will be forfeited for late cancellations (<48 hours) or no-shows.
- 2.6. SNA reserves the right to cancel or restrict bookings.
- 2.6.1. Restrict future bookings in case of misuse or no-shows.
- 2.6.2. The Association reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
- 2.1. Complete the Room Booking Request Form (online).
- Room Usage Policy
- Users must strictly adhere to scheduled timings and ensure the room is vacated promptly at the end of the booking.
- Food and beverages are permitted only in designated areas; all surfaces must be kept clean and free from debris.
- Users are expected to maintain the room in good condition throughout their booking. This includes arranging furnishings as found, disposing of all waste properly, and ensuring no damage is caused to equipment or property.
- After use, the room must be left in a tidy and orderly state, ready for the next occupant.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and common areas.
- Compliance with safety, fire, and facility regulations is mandatory at all times.
