The logo was designed by Mr Adam Tan and edited by Ms Halijah Jantan.
At the heart of the logo is an abstract blue human figure symbolising the patient and the values of serenity, dignity, peace, and holistic care throughout the palliative care journey. The softened curves reflect compassion, safety, and person-centred support.
Encircling the figure is a flowing pink embrace forming the letter “P”, representing both Palliative Care and the nursing profession.
The sweeping motion symbolises compassion, advocacy, protection, and the unwavering presence of nurses who journey alongside patients and families through serious illness, end-of-life care, grief, and bereavement.
A subtle heart element within the design reflects empathy, connection, and the therapeutic relationship between nurses, patients, caregivers, and communities.
Together, the pink and blue elements create a unified emblem representing compassionate nursing care, dignity in living and dying, interdisciplinary collaboration, leadership, and the advancement of palliative care nursing in Singapore.
