The Infusion Nurses Chapter logo reflects the chapter’s identity and its alignment with the values of the Singapore Nurses Association.

Its circular form symbolises unity, continuity, and the collective strength of nursing. At the centre, the lamp represents knowledge, vigilance, and compassionate care, while the flame signifies the enduring spirit of nurses in advancing best practices.

The infusion set highlights the chapter’s specialty, representing precision, safety, and expertise in delivering complex therapies. The heart-shaped backdrop reinforces nursing’s foundation in empathy and patient-centred care.

Aligned with SNA’s colour palette, the logo conveys professionalism, trust, and calm assurance. The phrase “Excellence in Practice” affirms the chapter’s commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

History

This chapter was established with that purpose in mind – to bring together passionate professionals, to elevate practice standards, and to strengthen the role of nurses in delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based infusion care.

Our chapter is built upon a strong foundation of individuals who bring with them a remarkable depth of experience, seniority, and leadership. Our founding team comprises nurses, nurse clinicians, nurse educators, and nursing leaders who have dedicated many years to advance nursing practice within their respective institutions.

What makes this team truly exceptional is not only their individual accomplishments, but the collective strength they represent. They come from across a wide range of healthcare settings— both public, private healthcare, and independent practice —bringing together diverse perspectives that enrich our chapter.

Each member has contributed significantly to the field of infusion care, whether through clinical excellence, policy development or education. Their willingness to step forward and serve as pioneers of this chapter reflects their commitment, passion, and dedication to advancing safe and evidence-based infusion practices in Singapore.

More importantly, they embody the spirit of collaboration. Despite coming from different institutions, they have come together with a shared vision—to elevate infusion nursing, to strengthen professional standards, and to create a platform where knowledge is openly shared for the benefit of both nurses and patients.
