On the 21st November 2023, the 17th Tan Chin Tuan (TCT) Nursing Award for Enrolled Nurses was held at the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI).
Organised by Singapore Nurses Association, the award ceremony was graced by Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health & Ministry of Law .
The TCT Nursing Award is a national award that honours outstanding Enrolled Nurses who are committed to advancing the nursing profession. Established by the D.S. Lee Foundation in 2006, the Award represents the pinnacle of distinction for Enrolled Nurses. All winners received cash prize, and the top three winners received a solid gold Florence Nightingale medallion. The Champion walked away with a Challenge Trophy which will be kept by the champion’s institution for a year.

Background
The Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award is a national award that honours outstanding Enrolled Nurses who are committed to advancing the nursing profession.

Nomination Criteria
– Nominees should be trained Enrolled Nurses who are currently in full-time service, with at least five years of post-qualification nursing
experience.*
– Nominees cannot be currently pursuing upgrade to RN
*Note: Past recipients of the Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award are not eligible.
All nominations must be accompanied by a nomination form and justification form for each Enrolled Nurse. You can download the forms below:
