Introduction
The 7th Asia Pacific Nurses Convention (ASPAN), organised by the Singapore Nurses Association, is dedicated to providing a platform for dynamic nursing leaders to share best practices to improve the health of individuals and communities. Nurses in the Asia Pacific stand at the gateway between the East and West and as such, are prepared to address cross cultural issues and trends impacting health in resource enriched and constrained settings. It is an excellent opportunity for participants to develop collaborative relationships at the international level.
