Oncology
To provide continuing education on oncology and raise awareness to the public.
The Oncology Nurses Chapter was formed in July 1990 by its Advisor Ms Emily Ang after the first Oncology Nursing Course in Singapore. Official approval for the formation of the Oncology Nurses Chapter was given at the Executive Council meeting of the SNA.
Objectives of the Chapter
- To provide continuing education on oncology to nurses in Singapore.
- To educate the public on awareness of cancer and early detection.
- To foster and promote ties with cancer related agencies.
- To raise fund for cancer related activities.
Committee Members
The Chapter reports its activities to Singapore Nurses Association 6 monthly/yearly. The committee's main role is to organise activities to meet the objectives of the Chapter. Committee members are elected biennially and hold office for 2 year. Committee members comprises of Oncology trained nurses from various hospitals in Singapore.

Terms of Reference
- All Oncology Nurses Chapter Members must be SNA members.
- The Committee would be responsible for all its activities and funds.
- The ONC would donate 5% of all funds raised to SNA account.
