Education Committee

The Education Committee was the pioneer Committee which came into existence at the inception of the Singapore Trained Nurses Association in 1957. It started as the Education and Social Committee.

Objectives

To identify nurses' learning needs and provide support to enhance nursing education
To enhance the skills and knowledge of nurses, thus enabling them to render safe and effective care
To provide an opportunity for nurses to network with each other (locally and internationally)
To enhance the professional image of nurses in Singapore
To enhance the professional image of Singapore Nurses' Association
