  1. To act as a voice for ophthalmic nurses in Singapore – through proposals and recommendations to enhance ophthalmic nursing practice
  2. To be a platform for sharing of information and best practices – leading to standardization of ophthalmic nursing care across Singapore
  3. To be an avenue for integrating ophthalmic nurses and assistants locally ,around the Asia Pacific region and globally.
  4. To be a driving force for research and quality improvement projects for ophthalmic care
